The Process
Design
The concept behind your
personalized web design will drive every other element of the project. You'll get a chance to speak with a project manager and one of our highly-skilled graphic designers and discuss what you want your visitors to experience through your site. Keep in mind any colors you are partial to, sites you admire, whether or not you would like an
e-commerce system, and the ultimate purpose of your site. After this session, a layout of your site will be presented for your approval. After approval, your project will move into the next phase of production: development of the actual site.
Development
This process encompasses writing the code for the web pages and making sure it works in a variety of ways. You'll be able to watch your site develop on a private "beta" site. If you have any comments about your
web site production, your project manager will be readily available for input. The development process is most involved of all stages, and requires that you be active in understanding your site and providing content when necessary. If you're too busy to develop your own content, we also staff copywriters to produce verbiage specifically for the web. The next step is about getting people to really look at your finished site.
Marketing
Wait! It might look finished, but I assure you it's not. The key to garnering business from your site is to publicize it. Old City Web Services offers a
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) package that will boost visitors to your site exponentially. In addition to SEO, you might consider advertising on OldCity.com, Northeast Florida's largest web portal, averaging over 6 MILLION hits monthly. We also offer a variety of
