DESCRIPTION
Seeking a fresh, clean website that would showcase the spirit of their clients and all of the great work they do, the Arc of Volusia came to visit us at Old City Web Services. We worked with the Arc Volusia team to identify the elements they wanted to express through their website which included elements of caring, eco-friendly and fun. Keeping those elements in mind, we crafted a design that was bright and cheerful, but simple enough to let the Arc Volusia’s photos of their wonderful, talented clients shine. We also built the website in our content management program, allowing the Arc Volusia team to add new event photos, change the seasonal offerings in their workshops and more. It was also important to the group that they highlight the success stories of their clients, which gave us the idea to dedicate the sidebar to these wonderful stories as part of an on-going blog series. To tie everything together, we also provided the Arc Volusia with professional home page content, written by one of our staff members who toured the campus and met several of the clients. Creating the site was a wonderful experience with so many memorable moments along the way, it was a great project.
