DESCRIPTION
Arizona Custom Knives, an online seller of new and collectible knives, came to us in search of a logo to represent their business on and off the web. We created four designs using traditional elements of Southwestern style including the colors turquoise and orange as well as some hints at Native American symbols and art. From those four logos, the owners selected this simple icon, which allowed for more complexity in the fonts for the company name. We mixed a serif font with all lowercase letters for “Arizona” with a sans serif font in all caps for the “Custom Knives” line. To keep the whitespace between font and icon even, we left off the dot at the top of the “i” in Arizona.
