DESCRIPTION
Located just south of St. Augustine in Crescent Beach, Devil’s Elbow Fishing Resort is a relaxing haven for St. Augustine visitors. With a boat ramp and bait shop on site, it is a popular destination for fishermen and their families. Keeping this in mind, we created a logo that would have an appeal across several target markets. We used an italicized sans-serif font across the top, complimented by a simple serif font in all caps across the bottom. We used the angle of the “V” in “Devil’s” to create a fishing hook icon, balanced at the top by a devil’s horn. The client now uses the logo not just on a website, but embroidered on hats, T-shirts and other custom items available at the resort’s gift shop.
