DESCRIPTION
St. Augustine’s longtime favorites for swimwear and beach apparel, the Sunshine Shop, came to us in search of a new design that would reflect their merchandise and location in beautiful St. Augustine Beach. We took their old site, which was in tones of gray and magenta, and created something with a laid back, beach feel–much like a Corona commercial, which is what the clients were searching for. We used their existing installation of SlideShowPro to create an eye-catching showcase of their merchandise. We also provided them with a content management system so that they could advertise upcoming sales, new products and more. To help promote the new website and the overall business, we also helped the Sunshine Shop set up a Ratepoint account. Now visitors to their site can join a newsletter list, and using Ratepoint’s simple template tools the Sunshine Shop can send out e-mail notifications for sales and other information to potential customers on the list.
