1. Go to the desktop and double click on Microsoft Outlook.
2. You will see Outlook splash window appear
3. Once your Outlook opens, the window will look similar to the window below, click “File”
4. Click on “Account Setting”, then the Account Setting Drop Down, then proceed to next step…
5. Click on the “new” button
6. Next window, Select “E-mail Account” then click “next”
7. On the Next window, select “manually configure server settings…..” then click “next”
8. Next window, select “Internet Mail”, then click “next”
9. Next window will be your information to input….
– Your Name: Type in first and last name
– Email Address: (the username given to you”@oldcity.com)
– Account Type: “POP3”
– Incoming mail server: type mail.oldcity.com
– Outgoing mail server: type mail.oldcity.com
– User name: (user name is your email address you were given)
– Password: (the password you were given)
– Make sure the “Remember Password” check box is selected

10. Click on “More Settings”
11. The below window will appear, click on “Advanced” tab – in the “Outgoing Server (SMTP)” box, the default port number is 25, delete the 25 and manually type 587, proceed to next step.
12. Then click on the “Outgoing Server” tab, verify “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication” is selected and the “use same settings as my incoming mail server”, then click ok
13. The above will go away and you will come back to the window below, click “Next”
14. The Congratulations! window will appear – now your email is setup – click “Finish”
15. Now your email window should have emails!
